We're excited to announce that Kate Tunstill, Honours student in our team, has been awarded the Queensland Fire and Biodiversity Consortium's Student Research Scholarship for 2020 (worth $3000)!
Kate's Honours project aims to evaluate the individual-level impacts of commonly used fire retardants on larvae (tadpoles) of endangered amphibian species in the south-east Queensland region (endangered Fleay’s barred frog, Mixophyes fleayi).
