Our team at Griffith University has recently been awarded $99,958 in Round 4 of the Queensland Community Sustainability Action grant scheme in the category "Threatened Species Recovery and Resilience" for the project "Post-bushfire status of southeast Queensland's threatened rainforest frogs".

Our project aims to evaluate the post-bushfire distribution and key threats to habitat of stream-associated rainforest frogs including the Fleay's barred frog. At least 80 community-involved survey and monitoring visits will be undertaken across 20 project sites in Main Range and other National Parks of World heritage-listed Gondwana Rainforests in south east Queensland.
